I welcome you all to Reflections – a magazine published by the Department of English, University of Asia Pacific (UAP). The current issue of Reflections presents the creative works of our students and teachers in prose and verse.

As we have almost weathered the challenges of the ravaging pandemic, we hope to continue to publish the magazine biannually in keeping with our original plan. We will ensure that the magazine is available for readers both in hard copy and electronic version henceforth.

Now that life has come back to a semblance of normalcy and academic activities have sprung to life, I believe this magazine will give our students a fresh and greater opportunity to put their creative genius to use. It will provide an outlet for creative minds to reflect and reveal their energy and aspirations as budding writers. Through the publication of our magazine, we hope to cultivate a love for reading as well as a taste for creative writing among our students. Our goal is to nudge students into trying their hand at creative writing, instilling in them confidence by recognizing their works through the magazine.

I hope the readers will enjoy and appreciate the experience of reading the magazine and give us constructive feedback.

I am grateful to all the faculty members and students of the Department of English, UAP for making Reflections possible.

Thank you.
